After
being forced to put their studies on hold for a good part of the month,
college students will head back to class next week after the teachers’
strike came to an end Friday night.Ontario
college teachers and the province's 24 colleges agreed to a
mediation/arbitration process, meaning some students will head back to
class as early as Monday. But some have said said that actually it seems more realistic that clases will begin Tuesday, or even Wednesday. The teachers have said they night need one ot two days to map out the rest of semester. Ok so now that thats out of the way, I'm going to post a picture of my current PC - its blew up one night and I'm stuck writing articles and surfin the web on it. Now, If I'm really lucky, I'm save enough for a new lappy. I'm hoping to make the BIG SWITCH to Apple. There are a few reason why I'm doing this, but mainly because of video editing. I have hours of raw video and I have a couple independant projects lined up and the IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) and WEB 2.0 (new age of the internet) is growing by the day and I hope to jump onto the band wagon. http://www.putfile.com/hamstar CHECK IT OUT!

Here they STRIKE again!
I'm getting sick and tired of these professors using students as pons to get their points across. These crazies have walk out of the bargain table and now picketing on the college campus of Ontario....Call me crazy but was there a strike like this recently??? I can sympathizes with the professors needs and I understands their complains - But for god sake you can solve your problems without interrupting the flow of the classrooms??? The students paid for their education and they want to finish their courses in time and you are just making things difficult! And just recently I heard that the tuition fees for college and universities are going to be increased!!! This is unacceptable! Monday, January 23

Well its early going and it looks good for the NDP. Currently they are leading or elected in 12 ridings and has the highest increase of votes. The liberals seem to be holding their own despite how badly they ran their campaign. As for the conservatives they look like they will make strong gains tonight and may even get their majority. Well we will just have to watch and see what happens. Adonis |
